"I Plan To Promote My Music"- Sheriff Sulaimon

This week, we showcase Sheriff Sulaimon an upcoming and talented musician. He is the new 'kid on the block' and someone to watch out for this year.



Sheriff Sulaimon aka Double S has been involved in music for about 8years although, the early years involvement was not a professional one. According to Double S, his music was at first influenced by Eedris AbdulKareem, a Nigerian musician who was one of those who pioneered hip hop music in Nigeria. Eedris flamed Sheriff's interest in rap music. That however changed after singing in one of his tracks. "I discovered I was better at singing than rap." He said. "Along the line, he further revealed, "I started going to the studio to record my music and I was able to learn how to produce songs by myself and I have been doing this for others as well. This year, I plan to promote the music I have worked on thus far" Double S' brand of music is Afro hip hop.
