This picture caught my attention. This is Pastor Chris Okotie, the senior Pastor of Household of God, a Church in Lagos, Nigeria. The picture indicates that he is on the pulpit, preaching, being guarded by Kevlar wearing bodyguards.
This is someone who would remind his congregation about Psalm 91 "He that dwells in the secret place of the most high..." However, it is apparent that he does not believe that. How would you explain his being surrounded by three hefty bodyguards? What or whom are they protecting him from? If he tells you at that moment that "you are fully protected by God", would you believe him?
